KELLE BANDEA
About Kelle
Writing
Kelle is a columnist at Feminism and Religion and Return to Mago and her first book on Celtic/Goddess spirituality is entitled 'Modron; Meeting the Celtic Mother Goddess' and will be published by Moon Books 28/1/25. This will be followed by 'Mabon; Discovering the Celtic God of Hunting, Healing and Harp' later in 2025. She is currently working on her next book and is also open to collaborations.
Spiritual Counselling
Kelle is a trained spiritual companion and also qualified in person-centred counselling in 2018 before taking additional training in ecotherapy. She is passionate about restoring and restorying humanity's relationship with the land. As a neurodivergent and disabled person with GRT heritage, she is particularly concerned with how marginalised groups can access the outdoors and weave themselves into their lands and heritages in our hyper-capitalist age.
Raised by Catholic parents with Irish Traveller and Welsh Kale heritage, educated at an Anglican school and brought up on an inner-city council estate, Kelle's approach to spirituality is appropriately multi-faceted and yet rooted in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside where she now lives. She holds M.Div and D.Min degrees in Feminist Theology and studied English Literature at Cambridge. She has dyspraxia and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and uses a wheelchair. She is also a mother of three. She found her situation initially frustrating, having never been 'domesticated' or fond of staying in one place! Yet as a result her spiritual practice has deepened and flourished and she is currently working on a book about this entitled 'Hearthcraft, Heartcraft.'
